Short version: Milewatt does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. Everything you enter stays on your device. There are no accounts, no analytics, no ads, and no tracking.

This Privacy Policy explains how the Milewatt mobile application ("Milewatt", "the app", "we", "us") handles your information. Milewatt is an offline app for tracking the running costs and maintenance of electric vehicles. The app is published under the package name com.sabasit.milewatt.

Information we collect

We do not collect any personal information. Milewatt does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal details. We have no servers and the app does not send your data anywhere.

Where your data is stored

All information you add to Milewatt — such as your vehicles, charging sessions, services, expenses, reminders, and settings — is stored locally on your device only. We cannot see, access, or retrieve this information. If you export a backup file, that file is created on your device and is shared only if and where you choose to send it.

No analytics, ads, or tracking

Milewatt contains no advertising, no analytics or crash-reporting SDKs, and no tracking technologies. We do not build a profile of you and we do not use your information for marketing.

Permissions the app may use

Notifications: used only to show local reminders you create (for example, a service or insurance renewal). These notifications are generated on your device and are not sent through any server.
File access (export / import): used only when you choose to export a backup or import a previously exported backup file. Files are handled on your device; nothing is uploaded to us.

In-app purchases

Milewatt offers an optional one-time "Pro" unlock. Purchases are processed entirely by the app store you use — Google Play (or the Apple App Store on iOS). Those platforms handle the payment and their own privacy practices apply to the transaction. Milewatt does not receive or store your payment details; the app only records, on your device, whether Pro has been unlocked.

Children's privacy

Milewatt does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children. Because the app collects no data at all, it does not gather personal information from children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country).

Deleting your data

Because your data lives only on your device, you are always in control of it. You can delete individual records inside the app, or remove all app data by uninstalling Milewatt from your device.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update this page and revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
